Software Development Engineer 2

Reliance Jio Platforms • Mumbai, India • Jul 2024 – Jul 2025

Built event-driven microservices in Node.js and Kafka using transactional-outbox and pub/sub patterns. Developed content-delivery, session and auth APIs on Redis + PostgreSQL with fault tolerance at scale, and provisioned infrastructure with Kubernetes, Docker and Terraform. Shipped an internal client SDK to standardise API integration across teams.

Software Development Engineer 1

Reliance Jio Platforms • Mumbai, India • Aug 2023 – Jul 2024

Built RESTful backend APIs handling millions of requests daily and deployed JioTV+ across Tizen, webOS and VidaaOS with platform-specific fallbacks. Researched and shipped 360° video streaming with Three.js and WebGL — used during the IPL with 10M+ concurrent users — and kept JioTV running on KaiOS feature phones for 1M+ daily active users.

Graduate Engineer

Reliance Jio Platforms • Mumbai, India • Jul 2022 – Jul 2023

Built Jio MediaPlayer with HLS, DASH and MPD support using React.js and Node.js, shipped across multiple Jio products. Developed an Android WebView wrapper for JioNews and maintained backend services for third-party integrations.
